In this release:
General
- Calendar View Defaults to Upcoming Events: The Events Calendar now defaults to showing only upcoming events, consistent with the Events List view. If you manage a large number of events, you notice a significant improvement in calendar load times. A status filter in the calendar header still lets you switch to Live, Completed, or All events at any time.
- Department Category in Tasks Power BI Feed: The Department Category field is now available as a display column and filter in the Tasks Power BI feed. This gives operations teams more flexibility to organise and analyse task data by department. Field labels follow your account's localisation settings.
- PDF Reports Available in Profile Language: PDF reports are now generated in your configured profile language, so report output matches the language preference set in your account. This applies to system text only. User-entered data is not translated and continues to display in the language it was originally entered in.
Control
Archived Events Removed from Dropdowns: Archived events no longer appear in event selector dropdowns across Risk and Control, including Risk Assessments, Organisational Risk, Incident, Log, and Job event fields. You now see only active, valid events when you make a selection. This reduces noise and helps prevent accidental assignment of an inactive event.
Richer History Log for Title and Description Changes: History log entries for Title and Description edits in the Control module now show exactly what changed. The log displays the previous and new values side by side, for example, Updated Title from "X" to "Y". This gives teams a more meaningful audit trail when they review record history.
Dashboard Widgets Respect User Permissions: Users with access to a specific object type in the Control module, for example Jobs only, now see only relevant widgets when they manage their dashboard layout. Widgets for objects outside a user's permissions no longer appear in the widget picker.
SubTask Links Now Navigate Correctly: A direct link to a subtask now takes you to the parent task's Details page and automatically opens the subtask. This gives you a consistent experience no matter how you shared or saved the link.
Add New Check Modal Improvements: The Add New Check modal on the Incident/Job details page now has a clearer layout and improved usability.
Template Risk Tabs Cleaned Up: In Template Risk, the Add Incident and Add Job buttons no longer appear on tabs with no associated records. This keeps the interface focused and removes unnecessary clutter.
Hub
Hub users can now save, share, and manage named configurations of the Hub Gantt, making it easy to switch between different views without manually reapplying settings each time.
Creating: Any Hub user can save the current Gantt state as a named view available to all Hub users. The saved view includes column and row visibility, active filters, task expansion, and timeline range.
Applying: A Views dropdown in the Gantt header lets you switch views in one click. You can also set a Default View to load automatically when you open the Gantt.
Editing and Deleting: Only the creator of a view can edit or delete it. Changes appear immediately for everyone.
Mobile
- The application now presents the Risk Template details page in a fully redesigned layout for mobile devices. The new layout presents everything in a single scrollable column, with accordion sections for Details, Location, Linked Items, and Subscribers, plus a horizontally scrollable tab bar for Assessments, Incidents, Jobs, Attachments, and History. Desktop experience is unchanged.
Fixes
- Outdated Incident Categories in Dropdown: The category dropdown now displays only current, active categories, giving you a cleaner, more accurate list to choose from every time.
- Incident Creation Errors: Creating a new incident now works smoothly and reliably.
- Report Formatting Issues Resolved: Reports now render correctly, both on-screen and in exported PDF format.
- Map Area Drawing: You can now draw areas on the map without interruption.
- Quick-Add Comments Not Saved: Comments added through the quick-add flow now save correctly every time.
- New Users Incorrectly Assigned as Risk Managers: The Risk Manager permission is now unchecked by default for new users granted access to the Risk module, giving administrators full control over who holds this role.
- Missing Departments in Hub Gantt Filters: Every department now appears and filters correctly in the Hub Gantt Chart, giving you the full picture when you filter by department.
- Text Formatting Lost in Excel Exports: Excel exports now retain the expected text formatting, so your data looks exactly as intended once it lands in Excel.
- Incident Tag Display Order Fixed: Incident tags now appear in the sequence defined by your account configuration whenever you add a new incident.
