The Planning Dashboard displays an overview of your projects, tasks, and milestones through a set of widgets. Use the dropdown in the header to switch between available dashboard layouts or to create your own.
Available widgets include:
- Momentum: A "speed-dial" showing what percentage of items have been completed on time (on or before their due dates) across the application.
- Department Task RAG Breakdown and Department Category Task RAG Breakdown: These widgets show all the tasks assigned to your Departments or Department Categories, with breakdowns of task RAGs across each.
- Tasks Milestone Snapshot: This chart shows the RAG statuses of tasks and milestones which have due dates last week, this week, and next week. Choose from the dropdown at the top of the chart to select a specific milestone type, or to exclude milestones and show tasks.
- Milestones Due This Month: A list of all milestones due in the current month. Click the three-dot icon to sort the milestones by type or due date.
- Overdue Milestones: A list of all overdue milestones. Click the three-dot icon to sort the milestones by type or due date.
- Projects Overview: View a chart of task RAGs in selected projects. Click the Projects Overview dropdown in the header to select which projects are included.
- Countdown: A widget that counts down to the date and time you specify. Click the three-dot icon in the widget header to configure the widget.
- Leaderboard: View the percentage of milestones completed on time in the past 30 days. Click the dropdown in the widget header to group by departments, department categories, or user.
- Company Bulletin: Provide date-stamped text updates about any topic. Click the three-dot menu in the widget header to configure the widget. Add the title for the widget, and use the six text fields to provide information: Fields 1, 3, and 5 display in the left column and are used for field labels, fields 2, 4, and 6 include the information for those fields.
- Weather Forecast: View today's weather. Click the three-dot icon in the widget header to add locations, then select a location from the dropdown.
Save a View
You can create custom dashboards by creating a saved view. To create or update a saved view:
- In the header, click the view dropdown and select Manage Saved Views. The Manage Widgets and Layout modal opens.
- On the Customise Layout tab, update the view:
- Select if the dashboard should have two or three columns.
- To add a widget, drag it from the Dashboard Widgets column on the left and drop it in place in the Dashboard Layout column on the right.
- To remove a widget, hover over the widget in the Dashboard Layout column and click the X.
- When all changes are complete, click Apply. You are returned to the Dashboard page.
- To save your changes, click Save Dashboard View. The Save Dashboard View modal opens.
- In the modal, either create a new view or save the changes to an existing view:
- To create a new view, add a title for the view.
- To save the changes to an existing view, select the view.
- To share the view with other users, select Save as Suggested view for other users.
- Click Save.
