It is common to use the Gantt chart to see an overview across all of your projects' or team's milestones. You can create a view focused on those milestones, without all the underlying tasks.
Update your Gantt with these settings:
- Filter: Filter by Milestone Type. You can choose all milestones or just a particular type.
- Gantt Options > View Options:
- Show/Hide Columns and Rows: Under Rows, un-select Project and Task Group. This will remove those rows from the grid and chart, leaving just the milestones.
- If you need to reference the project or task group, those can be added as columns under Columns. You can also add any other columns which may be useful.
- Timeline Restriction: Update the date as needed, perhaps to only view upcoming milestones.
Once your Milestone view appears how you want, you can:
- Save the view to use again. Click Save Gantt View, name the view in the modal that displays and click Save.
- Export the chart. Click the three-dot icon in the upper-right, go to the Export Options tab and export as PDF or image (PNG).
