You are able to control who can access a project. This is done via a user's permissions and the project's Project Privacy Status.
On the project, go to its Details tab. There you can select its Project Privacy Status:
- Open: This project will be visible to users with access to the Planning module based on their permissions (see below).
- Confidential: This project will only be visible to users with access to confidential projects (see below for specifics). Note that there is no view-only access to confidential projects; all users with access have edit access.
- Confidential projects display in lists with a padlock icon appearing by the project title. Confidential Projects do not display to users who do not have access.
Any user with edit access to the project can update its Project Privacy Status.
Project Permissions for Employees
In the Planning module user permissions, employees can be given varying levels of access to projects:
- Open Projects:
- View only access to either selected individual projects, projects they own, or all projects.
- Edit access to either selected individual projects, projects they own, or all projects.
- Confidential Projects:
- Edit access to either selected individual confidential projects or all confidential projects.
